Irregular periods
A cycle is usually 21 to 35 days. Some variation is normal, especially in the first years of periods and near menopause. A cycle that keeps changing is worth a conversation.
Common signs

- Missing three or more periods in a row
- Very heavy or very light bleeding
- Bleeding between periods
See a doctor if
- Your cycle has changed and stays changed for three months

- You also have pain, new hair growth or sudden weight change
- You are trying to conceive and cycles are unpredictable
